Wine Baked Chicken With Noodles

  1. Saute chicken in butter and garlic.
  2. Sprinkle with salt. Combine tomatoes, sauce, wine, parsley, oregano, pepper, fennel seed and cloves.
  3. Pour over chicken.
  4. Add lemon on slices.
  5. Cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes.
  6. Ten minutes before chicken is done, cook 1 package of noodles.
  7. Drain.
  8. Remove chicken to heated serving dish.
  9. Stir noodles into chicken liquid.
  10. Stir in cheese. Arrange in a ring around edge of chicken.
  11. Garnish with watercress and serve.
