Deviled Tuna And Noodles
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 3 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. milk
- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. fine noodles, cooked
- 2 (7 oz.) cans tuna
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs, mixed with 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. tomato juice
- 1 1/2 c. peas
- 1/4 c. chopped olives
- Saute onion, celery and green pepper in butter until soft. Blend in flour, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
- When slightly thickened, add tomato juice and combine with noodles, peas, tuna and olives.
- Pour into buttered casserole and cover with crumbs.
- Bake in a 425u0b0 oven for 20 minutes, until crumbs are brown.
- Serves 8.
