Cinnamon Swirl Cake
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. sour cream
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Combine nuts, sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
- Combine sour cream and soda.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add vanilla; gradually add flour mixture alternately with sour cream mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
- Spoon 2/3 of batter into greased 10-inch tube pan.
- Top with 1/2 of the nut mixture.
- Add remaining batter and nut mixture.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour or until cake is ready.
