Microwave Lasagna
- 1/2 lb. ground beef or venison
- 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 9 lasagne noodles (uncooked)
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- In a large glass bowl, heat crumbled ground meat 2 to 3 minutes on High until browned.
- Stir in spaghetti sauce and water.
- Combine Ricotta cheese, egg and pepper.
- Spray oblong baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Spoon 1/2 cup of sauce into dish, then alternately layer noodles, egg mixture, Mozzarella cheese and sauce, making 2 layers.
- Heat, covered, for 8 minutes on High.
- Continue cooking on power level 5 an additional 30 to 32 minutes until noodles are tender.
- Top with Parmesan cheese.
- Let stand, covered, for 15 minutes before serving.
