Chocolate Macadamia Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Combine over hot (not boiling) water, semi-sweet morsels and butter.
  3. Stir until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth; set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  5. Add nuts to coat well.
  6. Make a well in the center of flour mixture.
  7. In a small bowl, combine melted morsels, sour cream, corn syrup and egg until blended.
  8. Add to dry ingredients; stir until just moistened.
  9. Spoon into paper-lined muffin pans, filling each about 3/4 full.
  10. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
  11. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans.
  12. Cool completely or serve warm.
  13. Makes about 15 muffins.
