Clams Casino Dip

  1. Fry bacon; drain fat.
  2. Chop bacon.
  3. Saute pepper and celery. Add onion and chopped bacon; continue cooking until onion is translucent.
  4. Crumble crackers.
  5. Melt butter.
  6. Add butter to crackers.
  7. Add crumb mixture to vegetables in skillet.
  8. Add pimento, clams and clam juice; season with salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice and hot sauce (2 to 3 drops).
  9. Place in casserole and bake at 350u0b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
  10. Serve in chafing dish with crackers.
