Red Velvet Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugartogether;
  2. addtggs,
  3. one at a time, mixing well after
  4. each
  5. addition.tift flour, salt and soda together and
  6. add
  7. alternately
  8. with the buttermilk.
  9. Mix red food coloring and cocoatogether
  10. witht fork and add to the creamed mixture.
  11. Fold in flavoring and vinegar; mix well. Pour batter into 3 (9-inch)
  12. cake pans which have been greased and lined with waxed paper.
  13. Bake 35 minutes at 350u0b0.
