Nahiku Nut Pine Pie

  1. Heat oven to 400u0b0.
  2. Blend 1/3 cup of sugar, cornstarch and pineapple.
  3. Cook, stirring constantly until thick and clear. Cool.
  4. Blend cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar, salt and eggs, added one at a time.
  5. Stir well.
  6. Blend in milk and vanilla.
  7. Spread pineapple mixture when cooled into pie shell.
  8. Pour in cream cheese mixture and sprinkle with Macadamia nuts.
  9. Bake 10 minutes at 400u0b0, then reduce oven to 325u0b0 and bake an additional 50 minutes.
  10. Cool before serving.
