Hamburger Pie
- 1 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground oregano
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms.
- Beat vigorously 20 strokes.
- Gently smooth dough into ball on floured cloth-covered board.
- Knead 5 times.
- Roll dough 2-inches larger than inverted 9 x 1 1/4-inch pie plate.
- Ease into plate and flute edges.
