Party Cheese Ring
- 1 envelope Knox gelatine
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 8 oz. shredded cheese (Cheddar, mild or sharp)
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
- 2 tsp. minced onion
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- dash of hot sauce
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Sprinkle gelatine over cold water in saucepan.
- Place over low heat.
- Stir constantly until dissolved, 3 to 4 minutes.
- Combine mayonnaise and sour cream.
- Gradually add gelatine.
- Stir until well blended.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Chill until slightly thickened.
- Stir to mix.
- Pour into a 4-cup mold.
- Chill until firm.
- Unmold.
- Serve with crackers.
- Also nice in containers for gifts.
