Asparagus Quiche

  1. Bake pie shell for 10 minutes.
  2. Steam asparagus until tender and chop into slices.
  3. Saute bacon until crisp; drain.
  4. Saute mushrooms and onion in small amount of bacon grease.
  5. Layer bacon, asparagus, mushrooms and onions in bottom of pie crust.
  6. Beat together eggs, half and half and salt.
  7. Pour egg mixture over top of other ingredients.
  8. Decorate the top of the quiche with asparagus tops.
  9. Bake at 375u0b0 for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.
  11. Serves 8.
