Apple Cream Cheese Tart

  1. Tart:
  2. Cream Sugar and Butter with paddle until fluffy.
  3. Add Eggs in one at a time to full incorporate.
  4. Slowly add Pastry Flour.
  5. Wrap and refrigerate for at least six hours.
  6. Roll out 1/2 in thick.
  7. Place in Tart shell. Make sure there are no air bubbles.
  8. Cream Cheese Filling:
  9. Cream Sugar and Cream Cheese using paddle attachment.
  10. Add lemon zest.
  11. Add eggs in one at a time to fully incorporate.
  12. Spread filling in an unbaked tart shell.
  13. Apples:
  14. Mix sugar and cinnamon with apples.
  15. Place in a symmetrical pattern on top of filling (can also add nuts on top).
  16. Bake at 375 F until golden brown and set.
