Corn Light Bread

  1. Melt
  2. and dissolve the sugar, salt and margarine in the scalded
  3. milk.
  4. Dissolve
  5. the yeast in the 1/2 cup warm water. Combine
  6. the
  7. flour
  8. and
  9. meal in a large bowl.
  10. To the flour-meal,
  11. add
  12. the milk mixture, yeast and eggs.
  13. Stir until well blended.
  14. Knead
  15. on
  16. a
  17. lightly floured board until smooth and easy
  18. to
  19. handle.
  20. This
  21. will not take long.
  22. Cut dough into 2 parts
  23. and shape into loaves.
  24. Place into 2 buttered loaf pans and let
  25. rise
  26. in
  27. a
  28. warm spot out of drafts until double in size. Bake
  29. at
  30. 350u0b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
  31. Brush with melted butter when almost done.
