Microwave Fried Chicken

  1. In
  2. shallow
  3. baking
  4. dish, mix egg white and water.
  5. In another
  6. shallow
  7. dish,
  8. mix
  9. together
  10. bread crumbs, paprika, salt,
  11. garlic
  12. powder, pepper and bay leaf.
  13. Dip chicken first in egg
  14. watertixture
  15. and then in bread crumbs, dredging to coat. Place
  16. chicken on round glass dish with large pieces to the outside.
  17. Place butter in one cup glass measuring cup and microwave
  18. on
  19. High
  20. 30
  21. seconds
  22. or
  23. until melted.
  24. Pour over chicken.
  25. Microwave
  26. chicken
  27. uncovered on High for 5 minutes. Rotate
  28. a quarter turn and microwave on High 5 minutes.
  29. Cover chicken with waxed paper;
  30. rotate a quarter turn and microwave 5 minutes more.
  31. Remove from oven; let stand covered about 10 minutes.
  32. Return to oven for additional cooking if fork cannot be inserted
  33. in
  34. chicken with ease when testing for doneness. Makes 4 servings.
