Apple Dumpling Cake

  1. Grease bottom of 9 x 13 pan.
  2. Spread apples and raisins evenly over bottom of pan.
  3. In large bowl combine cake mix, 1/2 c. of water, margarine, sour cream and eggs at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at highest speed.
  4. Spoon batter over fruit.
  5. In small saucepan, heat 2 cups water and brown sugar to boiling.
  6. Pour over batter.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Serve warm inverted with a dollop of cream topping.
  9. To warm:
  10. cover pan with foil and heat at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
