Triple Cheese Pastrami Pizza(Yields 16 Slices)
- 1 loaf (approximately 16-inches long) French bread, split horizontally
- 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp. grated Romano cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) can prepared pizza sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) jar mild giardiniera, well drained
- 1 c. (8 oz.) thinly sliced pastrami
- 1/3 c. sliced pitted ripe olives, well drained
- 3/4 c. (3/4 oz.) each: shredded Mozzarella and Provolone cheeses, combined
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Place bread, cut side up, on cookie sheet.
- Brush with melted butter.
- Sprinkle with Romano cheese. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove from oven and spread with pizza sauce.
- Layer pastrami, combined giardiniera and olives.
- Top with cheeses.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cut each half of bread into 8 pieces. Serve immediately.
