One Pan Granola
- 1 c. oil
- 1 c. honey
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 5 or 6 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. wheat germ
- 1 c. rolled wheat flakes
- 1 c. sunflower, pumpkin and/or sesame seeds
- 1 c. nonfat dry milk powder
- 1 c. shredded coconut
- 1 c. unsalted nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts, etc.)
- 1 c. raisins, dried apricots, etc.
- Pour liquid ingredients into a large roasting pan and heat in 250u0b0 oven for 10 minutes or until mixture is warm and thinned; stir to blend.
- Mix together the dry ingredients except fruit. Remove roasting pan from oven and slowly add dry ingredients to liquid mixture in pan.
- Stir until well blended.
- Spread evenly in pan and return to oven.
- Bake approximately 2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.
- Granola should be golden brown.
- Remove from oven.
- When cool, add fruit, if desired.
- Makes about 12 cups.
