End-Of-The-Month Casserole

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet with onion and garlic.
  2. Drain well.
  3. Combine with cabbage, carrots, rice, soup, water, pepper and cumin in a 3-quart casserole dish.
  4. Bake in 350u0b0 oven, covered, for an hour.
  5. Or cover dish with plastic wrap and cook on High (100%) power in microwave oven for 15 to 20 minutes, stopping twice to stir.
  6. The casserole is done when cabbage and carrots are tender.
  7. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
