Impossible Taco Pie
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 (1 1/2 oz.) envelope taco seasoning mix
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained (optional)
- 1 small container sour cream
- 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 3 eggs
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
- Heat oven to 400u0b0.
- Grease 10-inch dish or 10 x 1 1/2-inch pie plate.
- Cook and stir ground beef and onions until brown and drain. Stir in seasoning mix as directed.
- Spread in plate; sprinkle with chilies.
- Beat milk, Bisquick mix and egg until smooth.
- Pour into plate.
- Do not stir.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Take out and sprinkle with cheese and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Cool for 5 minutes. Serve with sour cream, chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce, if desired.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
