Chow Chow Relish

  1. Combine
  2. cucumbers,
  3. tomatoes,
  4. cabbage
  5. and salt.
  6. Let stand 3 hours.
  7. Drain as much juice as possible.
  8. Add onions, vinegar, sugar, flour, mustard, hot peppers and turmeric.
  9. Tie in a bag the pickling spice and black pepper.
  10. Bring it all to a
  11. hot
  12. simmer. Pack
  13. in
  14. clean
  15. jars and seal at once.
  16. This relish compliments pork meat, hot dogs and hamburgers.
