Spinach Quiche
- 2 pkg. frozen spinach
- 1 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. green onions, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 4 strips bacon, fried crisp
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 2 to 3 fresh tomatoes
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0.
- Prepare spinach according to package and drain well. Combine eggs, cheese, milk and onions. Add salt, celery salt, basil and garlic. Combine with spinach.
- Pour into unbaked pie crust. Top by overlapping sliced tomatoes and crumbled bacon strips.
- Cover edge of crust with tinfoil to prevent it from getting too brown.
- Bake at 425u0b0 for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350u0b0 and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
