Turkey Turnovers

  1. Melt butter and blend with flour.
  2. Add milk while stirring, keeping mixture smooth.
  3. Add meat and seasoning, heat until mixture thickens.
  4. Cool.
  5. Roll pastry 1/8-inch thick and cut out 24 pieces allowing 2 pieces for each turnover.
  6. Place one piece on baking sheet and 1 heaping tablespoon of meat filling.
  7. Moisten edge with cold water and cover with second piece of pastry.
  8. Crimp edges with fork and prick each turnover to allow steam to escape. Bake at 450u0b0
  9. about 20 minutes or until brown.
  10. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
