Chow Mein

  1. Cook rice.
  2. Prepare and have ready the first 5 ingredients. Combine in a small bowl the next 5 ingredients.
  3. Heat in large skillet the oil.
  4. Add meat; stir-fry just until done.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. In another skillet, stir-fry in 1 tablespoon oil each vegetable just until slightly cooked.
  7. Add each vegetable to meat skillet after stir-frying.
  8. Just before serving, reheat meat mixture and add sauce.
  9. Cook just until sauce thickens and clears. Serve hot with rice.
