Cabbage And Pork Chops

  1. Place in large deep pot the oil or butter.
  2. Add pork chops; brown lightly.
  3. Remove the chops from the pot and place them in a dish.
  4. Add the onions; saute for 15 minutes in the hot oil, stirring constantly.
  5. Add tomatoes and the sauce.
  6. Cook over low fire for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes.
  7. Add salt, pepper and the lightly browned pork chops.
  8. Cook slowly for 1/2 hour.
  9. Add cabbage, a little at a time, until all is used.
  10. Cook until tender.
  11. Serve hot with cornbread or hot biscuits.
