Brie And Sausage Breakfast Casserole
- 1 (8 oz.) round Brie
- 1 lb. ground hot pork sausage
- 6 slices white bread
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- 7 large eggs, divided
- 3 c. whipping cream, divided
- 2 c. fat-free milk
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh or dried sage
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- Trim rind from Brie; cut into cubes.
- Set aside.
- Cook sausage, stirring until crumbled and no longer pink.
- Cut crust from bread and place evenly in 13 x 9 lightly greased baking dish. Layer evenly with bread slices, sausage, Brie and grated cheese. Whisk together 5 eggs, 2 cups whipping cream and next four ingredients; pour evenly over cheeses.
- Cover and chill 8 hours. Whisk remaining 2 eggs and 1 cup whipping cream; pour over chilled mixture.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 50 minutes or until set.
- Servings: 1.
