Easy Apple Dump Cake - From Scratch
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs (I use extra large)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
- frosting
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
- Dump flour, sugar, eggs, 1/2 cup butter, salt, baking soda, cinnmon, 1 teaspoon vanilla, chopped nuts and apple pie filling in a bowl.
- Stir.
- Pour batter in prepared pan.
- bake 50 min to 1 hour or until done.
- Frosting.
- Mix cream cheese and butter together until will blended.
- Gradually add confectioners sugar, milk and vanilla.
- Spread on cake when cake is cooled.
