Never To Be Forgotten Garlic Loaf
- 1 (1 lb.) loaf French bread
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 to 8 cloves fresh garlic, crushed
- 7 tsp. sesame seed
- 1 1/2 c. sour cream
- 2 c. cubed Monterey Jack or Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. minced, fresh parsley
- 2 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts (not marinated), drained and coarsely chopped
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar
- Cut bread in half lengthwise.
- Tear out the soft center of bread in chunks, leaving crust intact.
- Put bread shell on baking sheet covered in foil.
- Melt butter in a large skillet.
- Stir in garlic and sesame seed.
- Add bread chunks and cook until golden brown.
- Remove from heat.
- Combine sour cream, Jack cheese, Parmesan, parsley and lemon pepper.
- Stir in artichoke hearts and spoon into bread shells.
- Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
- Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 30 minutes.
