Fudgy Chocolate Butterscotch Cupcakes

  1. Fill cupcake tin with cupcake liners. Preheat over to 350u0b0F.
  2. Mix apple sauce, sugars, vanilla, beat in egg.
  3. In a separate bowl mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon.
  4. Add flour mixture to wet mixture a little at a time, stir in butterscotch chips.
  5. Spoon batter into cupcake liners.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until tops are firm to touch.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
