Gayle'S Upside-Down Popover Pizza
- 10 oz. bulk pork sausage or 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 can tomato sauce
- pizza spices
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- Heat
- oven
- to 425u0b0.
- Cook meat and onion; drain.
- Stir in tomato
- sauce,
- spices
- and the 2 tablespoons flour.
- Heat until boiling; boil 1 minute.
- Pour into ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Arrange Mozzarella cheese on top.
- Beat eggs, milk, oil, the 1 cup flour
- and
- salt
- until
- smooth.
- Pour
- over cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan
- cheese.
- Bake
- until
- puffy and golden brown, about 25 to 30 minutes.
