Festive Cocktail Meatballs
- for the meatballs
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 3 teaspoons dry breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 teaspoons onion flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- FOR THE SAUCE
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- Combine all the meatball ingredients in a large bowl, and mix well.
- Shape into 1 inch meatballs, and place on a jelly roll pan.
- Bake at 18 minutes or until brown.
- Combine the sauce ingredients, heat over stove until heated through, or slightly bubbling.
- Let cool for 3-5 minutes, and pour over meatballs.
