Creamy Banana Pudding
- 1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk
- 1 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 large instant vanilla pudding
- 1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
- 1 box vanilla wafers
- 3 or 4 ripe bananas
- lemon juice
- Combine milk and water; add pudding mix and beat well.
- Chill 5 minutes.
- Fold in all but about 1/2 cup of Cool Whip.
- Spoon about 1 cup pudding mixture into trifle bowl.
- Top with 1/3 of wafers (stand some up around edge and sprinkle crushed over top of mixture).
- Add about 1/3 bananas (dip into lemon juice first). Continue to layer pudding, wafers and bananas.
- Top with Cool Whip and decorate with banana slices.
- Chill before serving.
- I sometimes add a few strawberries around edge of trifle bowl for decoration.
- You may want to add a few to the whipped cream on top also.
