Kid'S Favorite Fourth Of July Jello

  1. Add salt and cream of tartar to the egg whites and beat until stiff.
  2. Slowly add the sugar, beating well as you go along. Mixture will be thick and glossy.
  3. Add vanilla at the end of beating.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheets, 1 inch apart.
  6. Put in oven and turn oven off immediately.
  7. Leave in oven for 3 to 5 hours (or overnight).

cherry jello, berry blue, regular size marshmallows, boiling water, trays ice cubes, egg whites, salt, cream of tartar, vanilla, sugar, semisweet chocolate chips
