Dog High-Calorie Drops Food Supplement
- 1 cup Karo syrup
- 1/2 cup canine-red-cell-supplement liquid (Canine RED CELL by Farnam)
- 1/3 cup oil (Omega blend recommended, like Virginia Prime Gold)
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons barley malt syrup
- 2 tablespoons maltodextrin hydrolyze starch (Maltodextrin or 4 tablespoons tapioca starch)
- Whisk oil and maltodextrin together.
- In a separate bowl whisk together all other ingredients.
- Slowly add oil-maltodextrin-mix to the other ingredients; use an electric hand mixer (may take up to 5 minutes).
- Refrigeration is recommended but not necessary.
- Shake well before using.
- Give 2 teaspoons per 10 pounds of body weight daily.
- Warning: contains vitamin-A, thus do not give any other vitamin-A supplement at the same time.
