Chocolate Cream Dessert

  1. In a bowl, cut butter into cake mix until crumbly.
  2. Add egg and mix with electric mixer.
  3. Press into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 in. baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350u0b0F for 15 - 18 min. or until set.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth.
  7. Fold in 1 c. of whipped topping.
  8. Carefully spread over the crust, refrigerate.
  9. Whisk milk and pudding for 2 min.; let stand until slightly thickened.
  10. Spread over cream cheese layer. Top with remaining whipped topping.
  11. Refrigerate 2 hours before eating.
  12. (12 servings.)
