Crowd Pleaser Casserole

  1. Cook broccoli and cauliflower in slightly salted water.
  2. Cook until slightly underdone.
  3. Drain; set aside.
  4. Melt 4 tablespoons butter in 1-quart saucepan; add flour.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Add milk, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  7. Add Cheddar, Parmesan and salt.
  8. Stir over low heat until cheese melts.
  9. Place vegetables in an ungreased 4-quart casserole.
  10. Sprinkle with chopped ham.
  11. Pour cheese sauce mixture over ham.
  12. Toss bread crumbs with the melted butter.
  13. Make a border of buttered bread crumbs around edge of casserole.
  14. Bake uncovered at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
