Cookies And Cream Ice Cream

  1. Beat
  2. eggs
  3. until
  4. thick.
  5. Add
  6. sugar and beat about 15 minutes until creamy.
  7. Add the Eagle Brand milk, half and half and the
  8. whipping
  9. cream.
  10. Fold in the crushed cookies or you may wait and
  11. add
  12. the cookies after the ice cream has set for better texture.
  13. If
  14. added
  15. before
  16. freezing, the cookies dissolve and make a chocolate looking ice cream (tastes the same, but doesn't look
  17. as
  18. good).
  19. Pour
  20. mix
  21. into
  22. the
  23. ice cream freezer and finish
  24. filling
  25. the
  26. container
  27. with milk.
  28. Make according to the
  29. directions
  30. on
  31. freezer.
  32. When set turn out into large container;
  33. add cookies and let freeze for about 1 hour.
  34. Makes 1 1/2 gallons.
