Oven Hash Potatoes
- 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- dash of parsley
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. crushed corn flakes
- In a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex baking dish melt 1/2 of the stick of margarine.
- Pour hash brown potatoes over margarine.
- (Leave at room temperature for a few minutes or thaw in microwave for a few minutes.)
- Put on salt, pepper and parsley.
- Mix soup, sour cream, cheese and onion.
- Pour on top of potatoes.
- Melt other half stick of margarine and pour over crushed corn flakes.
- Mix together and put on top of the casserole.
- Bake in a 350u0b0 oven 45 minutes. Serves a large number of people.
