Eagle Brand Fruit Cake
- 1 lb. each: candied cherries, pineapple and dark raisins, cut up
- 1/2 lb. chopped pecans
- 1/2 lb. chopped English walnuts
- 1/2 lb. green citron, cut up
- 1/2 lb. chopped, pitted dates
- 1/2 lb. chopped figs
- 4 cans Eagle Brand milk
- 2 lb. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- Mix brown sugar, spices and cocoa in a small bowl.
- In a large bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and milk.
- Add fruits, nuts and sugar-spice mixture.
- Mix well.
- Put into a tube cake pan lined with waxed paper.
- Pack it down real good; put waxed paper on top of pan.
- Wrap in foil, pan and all.
- Put in refrigerator and let set 1 1/2 months.
- This is real good for Christmas.
