Seven Layer Magic Cookie Bars
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
- 1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. (6 oz.) butterscotch or peanut butter chips
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut (1 1/3 c.)
- 1 c. chopped California walnuts
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0 (325u0b0 for glass dish).
- In 13 x 9-inch baking pan, melt margarine in oven.
- Sprinkle crumbs over margarine; pour Eagle Brand evenly over crumbs.
- Top with remaining ingredients in order listed; press down firmly.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool.
- Chill if desired. Cut into bars.
- Store loosely covered at room temperature.
- Makes 24 to 36 bars.
