Heavenly Hash Cake
- Cake
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 cups self rising flour
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 bag marshmallows
- Icing
- 1 (16 ounce) box powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk (not sweetened condensed)
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix by hand the eggs,sugar and butter.
- In a seperate bowl mix flour,cocoa,nuts and vanilla,add this to the egg mixture.
- Pour into a well greased and floured 19x13 inch pan,bake for 20-25 minutes.
- When done cut large marshmallows in half and place on cake while hot.
- Return to the oven for a few minutes to soften and melt.
- Combine all icing ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Pour icing over hot cake amd marshmallows.
