Chow Mein Casserole
- 1 can Chinese noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 c. raw rice or Minute rice
- 2 c. water
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can chicken rice soup
- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- In frying pan, put the butter and lightly brown the onion, garlic and celery, only until soft, then remove from flame.
- Then brown separately the ground beef and remove the grease.
- Mix all ingredients and put in baking dish and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes, covered.
- Add Chinese noodles on top, uncovered.
- Bake for 15 more minutes.
- Makes 6 servings.
