Death By Chocolate Trifle
- 1 pkg. fudge brownie mix
- 1 (4 oz.) can chocolate syrup
- 1/2 c. kahlua or coffee liqueur
- 3 pkg. Knorr instant chocolate mousse
- 24 oz. frozen nondairy whipped topping
- 8 Heath or Skor bars
- Bake brownie mix according to package directions.
- While baking, mix together chocolate syrup and the kahlua.
- Pour about half of this mixture into trifle or serving dish.
- When the brownie is done and cooled, break up and put into the dish on top of the syrup mixture.
- Mashing it is okay.
- Break up Heath or Skor bars and sprinkle some between layers.
- Pour half of remaining syrup mixture on top of brownie mixture and refrigerate.
- Make mousse according to package directions.
- Spread mousse on top of cake.
- Sprinkle with broken Heath or Skor bars.
- Spread whipped topping on top.
- When serving, serve with whipped topping and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
