Tomato Seafood Marinara Pasta
- 750 g seafood, marinara mix
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- 200 ml dry white wine
- 1 (400 g) can diced tomatoes
- 400 ml tomato passata
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- salt and pepper
- 1/3 cup chopped parsley
- 500 g pasta eg linguine
- Heat oil in a large saute pan, cook onion and garlic until soft.
- Add wine and boil briefly before adding tomatoes, passata and paste. Simmer for 15 minutes or until sauce thickens.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large pan of salted water until just tender, drain.
- Add marinara mix to the sauce and cook for 5 minutes or until prawns are pink.
- Stir parsley into sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve sauce over hot pasta.
