Hasty Hash(Microwave)

  1. Place butter in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  2. Cook on high 1 minute.
  3. Stir in onion.
  4. Cover with wax paper.
  5. Cook on High 5 minutes, stirring once.
  6. Combine water and gravy mix in a 2-cup glass measure.
  7. Cook on High 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Stir at 1 minute intervals.
  9. Combine beef and potatoes in a large mixing bowl.
  10. Add onion, gravy, salt and pepper; blend well.
  11. Spread mixture in a 12 x 8-inch glass dish.
  12. Sprinkle with paprika; cover with wax paper and cook on High 14 to 16 minutes.
  13. Rotate dish 1/2 turn after 7 to 8 minutes.
  14. Let stand, covered, 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
