Jim Bennett'S Spaghetti
- 1 pkg. spaghetti noodles
- 1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil or butter
- 1 large onion, diced
- m.s.g. season to taste
- celery salt to taste
- salt to taste
- 1 pkg. Lawry's spaghetti mix
- 1 c. sliced green or black olives
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- garlic salt to taste
- red pepper to taste
- pepper to taste
- In a saucepan, mix Lawry's sauce mix, tomatoes, olives and salad oil. Mix thoroughly.
- Bring to boil. Then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring often.
- Brown the meat while stirring in all of the seasonings, onion and bell pepper.
- Cook spaghetti and drain.
- Add the drained noodles and sauce to the meat mixture. Mix thoroughly.
- Simmer until ready to serve.
