Peanut Butter And Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 3 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 12 oz. (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- Sift flour, baking soda and salt together.
- Stir in rolled oats and set aside.
- Cream together the sugars, margarine and peanut butter.
- Add vanilla and eggs and beat well.
- Add sifted ingredients and mix well.
- Add chocolate chips and nuts.
- Chill for 2 hours.
- Form dough into
- walnut-size balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Do no overbake.
- Yields 5 to 6 dozen.
