Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

  1. Cut center from
  2. cabbage, chop it and set aside.
  3. Plunk the head of cabbage into
  4. a
  5. large pot with a cup of water and steam a couple of minutes.teparate the leaves.
  6. Mix together hamburger, browned
  7. slightly, sausage, salt, spices, rice, egg and onion. Plunk
  8. large spoonfuls into each leaf and roll up. Put the chopped cabbage
  9. heart
  10. in bottom of a large pot.
  11. Top with cabbage rolls, seam side down.
  12. Pour V-8 juice and water over the top, bring
  13. to a boil.
  14. Reduce heat, cover and barely simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
