Taco Squares Or Wedges
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 c. Bisquick
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 1 to 2 thinly sliced tomatoes (optional)
- 1/2 c. chopped sweet or hot pepper
- paprika
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Brown ground beef, drain off fat.
- Add taco seasoning and tomato sauce.
- Stir to blend and set aside.
- In a separate bowl blend sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese and onion; set aside.
- Mix Bisquick and water until a soft dough forms.
- Press into bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of greased 8-inch square or round baking dish.
- Spread beef mixture over dough; sprinkle with peppers and sliced tomatoes.
- Spread sour cream and cheese mixture; sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
