The Best Friend A Steak Ever Had
- 4 oz. can button mushrooms
- 2 oz. can sliced mushrooms
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. sherry
- onion powder
- Accent
- garlic powder
- black pepper (coarse ground is best)
- Drain mushrooms.
- Halve buttons if large.
- Melt butter in small skillet.
- Saute buttons 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add slices and continue to saute until all are browned.
- Reduce heat.
- Add dry seasonings to taste.
- Stir and simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add soy and Worcestershire.
- Increase heat slightly.
- Simmer 2 to 3 minutes. Add sherry.
- Reduce heat to simmer.
- Cover.
- Cook 3 to 5 minutes until sherry cooks down.
- Keep warm until steaks are done.
