Tagliarini
- 1 lb. browned ground beef
- 3 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 clove diced garlic
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 c. water
- 1 c. drained whole kernel corn
- 3 c. uncooked wide egg noodles
- 1 small can chopped ripe olives
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 3 to 4 slices American cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- Saute onion, garlic and green pepper in oleo.
- Add meat.
- Cook on top of stove in Dutch oven.
- Add tomato sauce, water and noodles; cook 10 minutes.
- Add sliced cheese, corn and olives. Pour into large buttered dish; sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake, covered with foil, for 1 hour at 350u0b0.
